We are heartbroken to share that Harry DeMille, co-founder and owner of Wax’n’Facts, passed away after a fight with cancer.
Since 1976, Harry has been one of the pillars of Little 5 Points — not just as a business owner, but as someone who shaped the very soul of this neighborhood. Wax’n’Facts wasn’t just a record store. It was a place where music lovers, artists, misfits, and locals could always find something real. It was home for so many people.
Harry was a champion for vinyl, for weirdness, for community. He showed up for this place every single day — for five decades — helping make L5P the creative, offbeat, unforgettable spot that it is. He kept the spirit alive.
Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and everyone who worked alongside him at Wax’n’Facts. We are working to honor Harry’s legacy in a way that reflects the love and history he gave to this community. We’ll share details soon about a tribute and ways you can celebrate him.
For now, we invite you to stop by the store, share your memories (email them to hello@Little5PointsOfficial.com), and play something loud in his honor.
Thank you, Harry. We will never forget you.
